Dear friends,

It is truly an honour to serve as the Chairperson of YFLO Kolkata under the FICCI Ladies Organisation for the year ahead.

Kolkata, with its unique blend of heritage, culture, and evolving enterprise, has always been a city of depth and character. There is a quiet strength here one that reflects in its people, its ideas, and its ability to adapt while staying rooted.

My vision for this year is to build a chapter that feels relevant, engaging, and meaningful to our members. I would like to focus on creating experiences that go beyond sessions, conversations that are honest, interactions that feel personal, and initiatives that offer real, practical value.

I also believe strongly in the power of community. When women come together with openness and intent, it creates space for growth, collaboration and shared learning in the most natural way. My effort will be to nurture that environment where every member feels included and inspired to participate.

With thoughtful curation and a clear sense of purpose, I look forward to shaping a year that is warm, impactful, and true to the spirit of Kolkata.

Dear Friends,

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I extend my warmest greetings to each and every one of you as the Chairperson of YFLO Kolkata. It is an honour to lead such a distinguished organization with a rich legacy of 17 years in empowering women and fostering their growth.

At YFLO Kolkata, we are not just a community, but a force of change committed to uplifting and empowering women from all walks of life. With a robust member base of over 600 strong and dynamic women, we stand as a beacon of inspiration and support for one another. As we embark on this journey together, I am excited to share my vision for 2024-25.

The motto of FICCI Ladies organisation for 41 years has been POWER TO EMPOWER – which in itself is the most powerful thing one can do as a woman, as an organisation. As a society and as a nation! Coming from a line of powerful women who have led this organisation, I feel truly empowered with the knowledge and experience I’ve had being part of YFLO since the past 12 years. The capacity to impart and share knowledge, resources and more so time of resilience and prosperity.

We aim to create a vibrant platform that celebrates the diverse talents, aspirations, and achievements of women in Kolkata. Through a series of engaging events, thought-provoking initiatives, and impactful collaborations, we will strive to provide opportunities for personal and professional growth, networking, and mentorship.

Together, we will break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and pave the way for a more inclusive and equitable society. I firmly believe that by harnessing the collective power and potential of our members, we can create meaningful change not only within our community but also in the larger world around us.
