My vision for the year is to build an inclusive, forward-looking and impact-driven chapter that creates meaningful value for every member through structured learning, collaboration and engagement. While continuing the strong legacy of FLO, the focus will be on enabling members to enhance their confidence, capabilities and connections, so they can grow both personally and professionally.

The chapter’s initiatives will be broadly aligned around four key pillars – Textile, Handloom & Handicraft; Green Economy & Circular Economy; Agriculture & Allied Industries; and Tourism & Hospitality. These pillars represent emerging and relevant opportunity areas, and will guide the direction of engagements, learning sessions and collaborations during the year. Our verticals will work horizontally across these pillars to ensure diverse exposure, cross-learning and wider participation.

A key focus will be inclusivity, ensuring that women at different stages of their journeys find relevance and opportunities within FLO. The introduction of FLO Circles will further strengthen peer learning, deeper engagement and meaningful networking.

Through alignment with national initiatives, focus on upskilling, and stronger linkages across the ecosystem, the objective is to create a chapter that encourages participation, builds confidence and enables members to contribute towards collective growth and impact.
