FLO Hyderabad conducted a 40-day professional tailoring course at the AMS Literacy House, Osmania University, under the chapter’s skilling initiative. 30 grassroots women trained with AMS instructors in garment construction, measurement, and finishing skills. On completion, participants receive a joint Skill India, FICCI FLO Hyderabad, and Literacy House certification.
The program equips women to establish home-based tailoring enterprises with low start-up costs, enabling immediate and scalable income generation. It is a core pillar of FLO Hyderabad’s approach to grassroots women’s economic empowerment through practical, certifiable vocational skills.
