FLO Mumbai, in association with Mumbai Police and CITTA Technologies Pvt. Ltd, successfully conducted Policing the Future – AI & Digital Competency, a 1.5-day capacity-building workshop held on 2nd and 3rd June 2026 at the Police Training Centre, Marol, Mumbai.
Organized under FLO Mumbai’s AI & Digital Literacy Vertical, the programme was designed to strengthen the digital competencies of police personnel and prepare them for the evolving challenges of technology-driven law enforcement. The workshop brought together experts from the fields of Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, social media intelligence, and digital forensics to share practical knowledge and real-world applications relevant to policing.
The first day, led by Mr. Sushant Sheth (Tech Doctor), focused on Artificial Intelligence awareness and social media intelligence. Participants were introduced to AI fundamentals, responsible AI usage, device security, and digital safety practices. Three young technology entrepreneurs shared insights on social media intelligence, digital communication, proactive policing, and online intelligence gathering.
The second day, led by Mr. Vijay Jadhav and Team, CITTA Technologies Pvt. Ltd, concentrated on cybersecurity and digital forensics. Participants gained valuable insights into the cyber threat landscape, cybersecurity best practices, digital evidence management, forensic investigation processes, and technology-enabled investigative techniques.
Practical examples and case-based discussions enabled officers to better understand the challenges associated with cybercrime and digital investigations. The workshop witnessed active participation from 29 Police Inspectors who engaged enthusiastically with the speakers and shared experiences from their fieldwork. The programme provided a valuable platform for dialogue, learning, and skill enhancement while promoting greater awareness of emerging technologies and their implications for law enforcement.
The initiative reflected FICCI FLO Mumbai’s commitment to fostering digital literacy and empowering institutions through knowledge-based interventions. The collaboration with Mumbai Police successfully created an impactful learning experience that contributed towards building a more digitally aware, technologically prepared, and future-ready police force.
