MoU Signing with S.W.R. Government Degree College for Girls

FLO Vijayawada signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Social Welfare Residential Degree Government College, Kanchikcherala, NTR District, to establish a FICCI FLO Digital Classroom aimed at strengthening digital learning and empowering young women through technology and education.

As part of the initiative, 4 laptops and 3 desktop computers were donated to the college to support the creation and functioning of the digital classroom. The college has approximately 135 girl students pursuing B.Sc. and B.Com (Computers) programmes. The classroom will also serve as a platform for implementing and extending FICCI FLO’s national initiatives and programmes, including Magic box programs, skill development, and other women empowerment initiatives.

The purpose of this MoU between S.W.R. Government Degree College for Girls, Kanchikacherla and FICCI FLO – Vijayawada Chapter is to collaborate in promoting digital literacy, employability, entrepreneurship, vocational education, women empowerment, and community outreach through Digital FLO Classroom.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by KL University and Siddhartha College dignitaries, S.W.R faculty members, and other distinguished guests along with FICCI FLO Vijayawada Chairperson Ms. Supriya Mallineni, FLO members, and donors. The facility will provide students with improved access to digital resources, technology-enabled 

Objectives of the MOU

The objectives of this MoU are to:

➢ Promote digital education and computer literacy.

➢ Enhance employability and vocational skills among students.

➢ Encourage entrepreneurship and innovation.

➢ Extend digital learning opportunities to women and disadvantaged communities.

➢ Strengthen institutional collaboration for community development.

Impact & Outcome 

Around 175 individuals are impacted through the MoU Signing with S.W.R. Government Degree College for Girls. The initiative reflects FICCI FLO Vijayawada’s commitment to bridging the digital divide, promoting education, and creating greater opportunities for young women, particularly in underserved communities.
