YFLO Delhi – MEANING: Acquire

YFLO Delhi proudly presented MEANING: Acquire, a thoughtfully curated multi-medium
exhibition that brought together tradition, innovation, and conscious consumption. Hosted at
Kaffa Cerrado Roastery, Okhla, the exhibition showcased the outcome of a meaningful
collaboration between Nav Trinjan, a young revival handloom collective, and ACQUIRE, a
contemporary clothing and textile brand.
What began as a connection facilitated by YFLO Delhi evolved into a powerful creative
partnership—demonstrating how collaboration can bridge heritage craftsmanship with
modern design sensibilities. The exhibition was organised in association with the India Art
Fair Young Collectors’ Programme and Angelique Raina of ACQUIRE, reinforcing
YFLO’s role as a catalyst for purposeful collaborations.
Event Purpose & Vision
The exhibition was rooted in the belief that materialism is not the opposite of spirituality,
but a profound expression of it—when grounded in care, intention, and ethical processes.
The event aimed to:
● Highlight the importance of conscious consumption and ethical material practices.
● Showcase textile experiments that honour craftsmanship, sustainability, and process.
● Bring attention to the work of Nav Trinjan, which develops organic cotton from seed
to textile.
● Encourage deeper appreciation of the people, processes, and stories behind the
materials we acquire.
● Foster dialogue around sustainability, craftsmanship, and mindful living.
The vision behind MEANING: Acquire was to invite visitors to rethink their relationship with
material objects—placing value not just on the final product, but on the journey, labour, and
intention embedded within it.

Exhibition Structure & Experience
The exhibition unfolded as an immersive, multi-sensory experience combining:
● Textile installations and experimental material displays
