World Environment Day – UN SDG Aligned Life Skills & Sustainability Initiative

FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Amulya Rao, convened a round table discussion at their office with Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Centre for Automobile (TN AutoSkills) to explore strategic collaboration in advancing skill development, workforce readiness, and women’s participation in the automotive sector.  The roundtable meeting was attended by representatives from TN AutoSkills: Kasiviswanathan Panchatsharam – Managing Director; M. Karthik – Head – Business Development & Projects (Ex. Isuzu / Nissan / Toyota / Ford); and Lakshminarayan – Mentor Consultant. The discussion enabled a focused exchange between leadership teams, resulting in alignment on scalable, industry-integrated skilling initiatives.  A key outcome was the proposal to establish a Common Facility for Automotive Skill Training in collaboration with a reputed automotive group.
