Vocational Skill Development (Maggam & Embroidery Course)

FLO Hyderabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Seetha Reddy Gaddam, conducted a 40-day vocational training in Maggam work and embroidery at the AMS Literacy House, as part of the chapter’s Skilling Initiative’s collaboration with Andhra Mahila Sabha. AMS trainers trained grassroots women in professional craft techniques.

Upon completion, participants receive a joint certification from Skill India, FICCI FLO Hyderabad, and Literacy House — a credential that validates their skills in the marketplace. The training enables women to take up Maggam and embroidery assignments independently with minimal investment, supporting the establishment of home-based enterprises and creating sustainable livelihood pathways.
