FLO Chennai members paid a visit to Thandalam ? a Model village built with Passion by our own FLO Member Ms. Radha Parthasarathy. We had the pongal celebration and visited their masala and Podi making unit ? a livelihood project for the Women groups in the village, vermicompost, making of Panjakaviyam, Health Centre and their Bio- Gas units. It was fun to celebrate Pongal with the Ladies. The FLO Members were amazed at the self- confidence of the women in the Production, Management and Marketing of Small scale industries.
