FLO Mumbai Chapter in association with SCWEC and Purvi Patel held the Vasutra Exhibition on April 19, April 20& April 21st at Coomaraswamy Hall, Kalaghoda.
Vasutra brought a unique and exquisite collection of textiles -saris, stoles, yardages and carpets from across the country and abroad. It showcased the crafts revived by master weavers.
For the first time in Mumbai people witnessed more than 40 weavers under one roof showcasing the best of their creations. This was an initiative to revive the dying creative process in our handloom sector. It was also our effort to support our weavers from India and neighbouring countries.
The exhibition had great footfalls & was a huge success!
