FICCI FLO Chennai presented an elegant and interactive workshop on The Art of Jewellery Stacking & Styling, offering members an inspiring afternoon dedicated to fashion, personal styling, and contemporary jewellery trends. Curated by Monisha Gidwani, CEO of Vimonisha Exhibitions & Events, the workshop also marked the Chennai debut of Zara Fine Jewellery, bringing an exclusive styling experience to FLO members.
Swetta Shah Kumawt shared her expertise on fine jewellery, demonstrating how necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings can be layered beautifully to complement different necklines, outfits, and occasions. She explained the importance of proportion, balance, layering, and combining statement and minimal pieces to create sophisticated and versatile looks.
Complementing the session, image consultant Sugandha Mittal spoke about the role of jewellery in enhancing one’s personal style and overall presence. She shared practical styling tips on choosing jewellery that reflects individual personality while seamlessly complementing different wardrobes and occasions.
One of the highlights of the workshop was the live styling demonstration, where a few FLO members volunteered to be styled on stage. The audience witnessed first-hand how different jewellery combinations transformed each look. The styled members then walked through the venue, giving everyone the opportunity to closely appreciate the styling techniques and the impact of thoughtful jewellery layering.
The workshop was highly interactive, with 60 members actively engaging in discussions, asking questions, and sharing their own styling experiences. The blend of expert insights, practical demonstrations, and live showcases made the session both educational and enjoyable. The afternoon concluded with members leaving inspired to embrace contemporary jewellery styling with greater confidence while celebrating individuality and timeless elegance.
