FLO Lucknow organised a Student Eye Check-Up Camp to provide vision care for 35+ young learners from Aminabad Inter College. The objective was straightforward: to provide students with professional eye examinations, identify those who required vision correction, and remove the financial barrier that often prevents families from addressing such needs.
Free glasses were provided to every student identified with a vision requirement, ensuring that the diagnosis was followed by practical support and access to the necessary correction.
The initiative reflected a key principle running through much of FLO Lucknow’s programming this year: empowerment and education are meaningful only when the basic physical conditions required for learning are also in place.
Academic support, skill-building, and sustainability education all play an important role in a child’s development. However, the ability to benefit from these opportunities begins with something as fundamental as being able to see clearly.
Through this camp, FLO Lucknow addressed that essential foundation directly, supporting more than 35 students at Aminabad Inter College and helping create better conditions for their learning and everyday classroom experience.
