STEM Spark

FLO Uttarakhand, under the leadership of Chairperson Tripti Behl, hosted an interactive educational initiative for young girls at The Horizon School in Jollygrant, Dehradun, and Inter College Bullawala, Doiwala. Facilitated by Neha Gupta, Executive Director of Tryfibox, the event combined career mentorship with experiential learning. 

Participants explored the achievements of prominent women in science to break industry stereotypes and discussed emerging career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Space Technology. Under the guidance of Co-Lead of STEM initiative and Day Chair Namrata Sharma, the program engaged students through live robotics demonstrations, interactive quizzes, and hands-on science models, concluding with the presentation of participation certificates to all students.

Impact 

The primary objective of the STEM Spark event was to encourage young school girls to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and envision themselves as future innovators, scientists, and leaders. By sharing inspiring stories of successful women in these fields, the initiative aimed to dismantle traditional gender stereotypes and empower girls to confidently pursue technical careers.
