SPARSH – SUGANDHA – SUTRA

FLO Mumbai, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Seema Saroj, in association with Rooveda, Tatvaved, and Coterie, organised SPARSH – SUGANDHA – SUTRA, an immersive experiential wellness journey for members at Roovedaa. The thoughtfully curated session explored the three core pillars of wellness — Sparsh (Touch), Sugandha (Fragrance), and Sutra (Wisdom) — through interactive demonstrations and insightful discussions focused on holistic healing and self-care.

Chairperson Seema Saroj welcomed members and highlighted the importance of the Health & Wellness Vertical in promoting overall well-being, balance, and mindful living among women. The session on The Power of Sparsh was conducted by Sherali Mehta, who guided members through an experiential essential oil facial, acupressure, and breathwork session. She demonstrated specific touch points that help release stored tension, revive skin vitality, and improve inner balance while explaining the connection between pressure points and emotional as well as physical wellbeing.

On The Science of Sugandha, members explored how fragrances and essential oils influence emotions, relaxation, and overall wellness, helping bridge the gap between the mind and body. Vaidya Satyajith Kadkol shared valuable insights on Ayurveda and the importance of traditional food habits, mindful eating, and natural lifestyle practices in addressing modern-day health concerns such as diabetes, blood pressure, insomnia, and obesity.

He emphasized how Ayurveda focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of health issues through a deeper understanding of the body and balanced living practices passed down through generations.
