The highly collaborative and deeply impactful “Sashakt Nari: Financial Freedom” workshop, hosted by YFLO Hyderabad, brought together a focused and enthusiastic group of 82 total attendees at Sain Medicaments. The initiative was intentionally structured to equip women with the essential knowledge and psychological confidence needed to make independent, secure financial decisions. The session sought to bridge the historical gap between passive household saving and strategic asset management.
The 90-minute interactive session was explicitly curated to maximize face-to-face audience engagement, offering a highly personalized, classroom-style learning experience. The event commenced with an introduction emphasizing YFLO Hyderabad’s foundational focus on civic upliftment and women’s self-reliance.
Following the opening remarks, guest speaker Ms. Sheetal Lahoti, Vice President at Avendus Wealth Management, took charge of the session, steering the discourse through three foundational learning pillars: Income Management, Savings Discipline, and Investment Fundamentals. Ms. Lahoti led a highly engaging, two-way dialogue where participants were actively encouraged to share real-world scenarios, discuss household budgeting struggles, and analyze individual financial habits.
Attendees eagerly utilized writing materials to track concepts, mapping out practical frameworks to optimize their cash flows and manage emergency reserves efficiently. The session concluded with an open-floor Q&A sequence, providing direct clarity to participants, followed by a formal presentation of an appreciation plaque to the speaker by the YFLO leadership board. The smooth execution of the workshop highlighted the chapter’s distinct operational capacity to design high-impact, zero-waste community programs that provide immediate, life-altering tools to women across the region.
