FLO Amritsar concluded its month-long Autism Awareness initiative with Seva & Shukrana – Autism Awareness Month Culmination on 30th May 2026 at Gurudwara Baba Srichand, Amritsar. The event brought together FLO members, homepreneurs, and beneficiaries from AGOSH Holding Hands in a spirit of gratitude, inclusion, and community service.
As part of the programme, Langar Seva and Prasaad distribution were organised for autistic and special needs children and adults associated with AGOSH Holding Hands. FLO members actively participated in preparing and serving the Langar, reinforcing the values of selfless service, dignity, and equality. Women homepreneurs, including bakers, also contributed towards the initiative, making it a meaningful community effort.
The event was graced by the presence of renowned chef and humanitarian Vikas Khanna, whose support added significance to the occasion. Under the leadership of FLO Amritsar Chairperson Tannya Khanna, the initiative served as a fitting culmination of a month dedicated to advocacy, awareness, and support for autism and special needs communities. Around 45 members became a part of this month long initiative.
The programme also reflected on the key milestones achieved during Autism Awareness Month, including participation in the Annual Function of AGOSH School for Special Needs, the organisation of Soch Ke Rang 9.0 – a two-day inclusive art show and fundraiser – and support extended through Art for a Cause initiatives benefiting 55 individuals with disabilities.
Seva & Shukrana successfully concluded the month-long campaign by bringing together service, awareness, and inclusion, while reinforcing the values of compassion, collective responsibility, and community support for autism and special needs individuals.
