Session With Dr. Rukmani Krishnamurthy On The World Of Forensic Sciences

FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Anita Agarwal, hosted Dr. Rukmani Krishnamurthy, India’s first woman forensic scientist, for an engaging and insightful session on the world of forensic Sciences at Conference Hall 2, Poona Club. With her signature wit, humour, and wisdom, she demonstrated how science and investigation converge to crack some of India’s most complex cases.

Dr. Krishnamurthy shared powerful insights from landmark investigations, including the 1993 Bombay Blasts, 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks, the Telgi Stamp Scam, and several high-profile Pune murder cases. She also raised vital awareness on cyber fraud and digital scams, urging citizens to remain alert in today’s digital age.

Attended by 90 members, the session left everyone deeply inspired by her pioneering journey and lasting contribution to India’s criminal justice system. This insightful session was organized under the FICCI FLO National Initiative – Women in STEM & Tech, which aims to build a pipeline of future women leaders in STEM and technology-driven industries.
