FLO Indore Says Thank You with Colors, Music, and Pure Inspiration. Celebrations are more than rituals, they are heartfelt expressions of care and powerful tributes to those who inspire us. True to this spirit, FLO Indore hosted a spectacular Holi Special Event – “Phoolon ki holi”
for its dynamic members and their cherished spouses — an evening that mixed the joy of India’s most joyous festival with sincere gratitude and empowerment. The event saw the presence of around 750 people.
Under the year’s theme “FLO with Purpose”, the gathering became a medium of saying thanks to the unending support of the spouses who stand as pillars of strength throughout the year. The evening was magnificently elevated by the inspiring presence of Padma Shri (2011) and Padma Bhushan (2024) awardee, the legendary voice of Indian music since 1970 — Ms. Usha Uthup. At an age where most would slow down, Usha Ji stood as a radiance of empowerment.
Her boundless energy and infectious enthusiasm transformed the stage, reminding every woman present that age is merely a number, when the heart beats to the rhythm of purpose and music. Members and their spouses were mesmerized by Usha Ji’s electrifying voice and a soul-stirring performance that had the entire ground swaying, singing, and dancing in pure delight.
But what made the evening truly unforgettable was her gracious interaction with the audience. When members posed thoughtful questions, Usha Ji responded with remarkable wisdom, sparkling wit, humility, and profound insight. The event was seamlessly and gracefully anchored by dedicated FLO Committee Members, CA Rashi Mantri and Ms. Palak Hassanandani.
The presence of esteemed Past Chairpersons, Ms.Meetu Kohli, Ms.Rhea Chhabra, Ar. Vibha Sethi and Ms. Mamta Bakliwal, further added to the legacy and warmth of the occasion.
