FLO Uttarakhand, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Geeta Khanna, in collaboration with Udgam Foundation, hosted the third session for Project Shree- Suraksha series at Akhil Bhartiya MahilaAshram, Laxman Chowk, Dehradun. This impactful awareness session was held under the rural skilling and capacity building, with the objective of empowering women through enhanced understanding of personal safety, legal rights, and basic self-defense techniques.
Facilitated by Coach Niriksha Chettri, the session was highly engaging and interactive, providing practical strategies and confidence-building tools to help participants stay alert, prepared, and protected in real-life situations. The project was initiated and led by Tripti Behl, FLO Uttarakhand’s Senior Vice Chairperson and President of Udgam Foundation, whose unwavering commitment to women’s safety continues to drive the vision of Project Shree.
The initiative was carried out under the able leadership and support of Dr. Geeta Khanna, Chairperson of FLO Uttarakhand, whose guidance has been instrumental in the successful execution of this safety-focused awareness program. Around 30 participants benefited from this workshop as they learned self defence techniques and personal safety tips. The event garnered excellent community outreach by reaching 15K people through different communication channels.
