FLO Ahmedabad, led by Chairperson Ms. Madhu Banthia, hosted a workshop focused on Lippan Kaam, the traditional mud mirror art of Kutch. The session, attended by 25 people, aimed at reviving this heritage craft and empowering women through hands-on skilling.
Master artisan Meenaben from Kutch led the workshop, guiding FLO members and young girls from the Manav Sadhna organization through the intricate techniques and symbolism of Lippan art.
The event highlighted FLO’s commitment to preserving cultural legacies and promoting sustainable livelihoods for women artisans. A display and LIVE demonstrations offered a deeper appreciation of this timeless art form, ending with meaningful exchanges between attendees and artisans.
