Pranic Healing Workshop & Advanced Pranic Healing Programme

FLO Kolkata, under the leadership of Chairperson Mansi Agarwal, hosted a soothing Pranic Healing workshop for its members. This initiative was conducted as a structured wellness-learning programme comprising a foundational four-day Pranic Healing Workshop followed by an Advanced Pranic Healing Programme for participants who had previously undergone introductory training.

The Pranic Healing programmes were facilitated by trained Pranic Healing practitioners, with Vrinda Tulsyan facilitating the Advanced Pranic Healing Programme. The facilitators guided participants through theoretical explanations, demonstrations, meditation, breathing exercises and practical activities, allowing participants to experience and practise the techniques introduced during the sessions.

The foundational workshop at AK Topsia engaged all participants and combined theoretical learning with demonstrations, guided exercises and practical activities. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of Pranic Healing and the concept of energy awareness in relation to physical, mental and emotional well-being. The programme covered hand sensitisation, pranic breathing, self-healing, healing others, distance healing and healing protocols for common ailments.

Participants were also introduced to identifying possible root causes of health concerns and to guided meditation as a means of cultivating inner calm and greater energy awareness. The emphasis on hands-on practice enabled participants to move beyond passive listening and engage directly with the techniques demonstrated during the workshop. Interactive discussions and facilitator guidance further supported participants in understanding and practising the various exercises.

The initiative was subsequently deepened through an Advanced Pranic Healing Programme conducted across AK Garia, AK Topsia and AK Behala for 9 students from the Sewing, Beautician, Mehendi and Computer courses who had previously attended a Pranic Healing session. Each session incorporated approximately one hour of meditation and exercise, followed by prayer, revision of earlier concepts and advanced practical learning.

Participants were introduced to the significance of six colours—Orange, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow and Velvet—and their associated energies, along with colour mixing, cleaning, negative-energy removal and advanced healing techniques. Breathing exercises, hygiene, diet, guided meditation, relaxation and positive thinking were also integrated into the learning.

The advanced programme maintained a strongly experiential approach. Participants practised the techniques, raised questions and shared their experiences during the sessions.

An Advanced Pranic Healing book was provided to each participant, creating a resource for continued learning and individual practice after the programme. Together, the programmes established a progressive wellness-learning pathway, giving 115 participants an opportunity to develop awareness, practise relaxation and meditation techniques, and continue their engagement with holistic wellness beyond the sessions themselves.
