Online Awareness Session on Export Promotion Mission (EPM) & TRACE Scheme

FLO Amritsar, under the leadership of Chairperson Tannya Khanna, participated in an Online Awareness Session on the Government of India’s Export Promotion Mission (EPM) & TRACE Scheme, in partnership with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO). Discussing EPM, the session highlighted how this flagship initiative simplifies access to export-related finance, market development initiatives, quality infrastructure, and regulatory compliance support for Indian exporters, particularly MSMEs.

A key focus was the TRACE (Testing, Certification and Regulatory Compliance for Exports) Scheme, which provides financial assistance towards international testing, certification, inspection and compliance requirements. Understanding these provisions can help women-led businesses reduce the cost and complexity associated with entering international markets.

The session also formed part of the ongoing strategic engagement between FICCI FLO Amritsar and FIEO, with both organisations working towards a proposed MoU that will create a stronger framework for export awareness, capacity building and handholding for FLO members. The online session featured esteemed guest speakers: Dr. Ajay Sahai, DG & CEO, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), and Mr. Gaurav Gupta, Assistant Director, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO).

The interaction was particularly relevant to FICCI FLO Amritsar’s ongoing efforts to build export readiness among women entrepreneurs and MSMEs. It provided members with greater awareness of government-backed mechanisms that can support businesses seeking to move beyond domestic markets.
