““न्याय शक्ति – आपका अधिकार, आपकी ताकत” was a legal awareness and women empowerment initiative organised by FICCI FLO Kanpur on 6th June 2026 at Village Chaubepur, Kanpur. The programme aimed to empower women by creating awareness about their legal rights and helping them understand the legal provisions and support systems available to them.
The session was conducted with the participation of legal experts from Moti Ram Law Associates, who interacted directly with women from the local community. The experts explained important aspects of women’s rights in a simple and practical manner, with particular emphasis on marriage, property, inheritance, and related legal matters. The interactive nature of the session enabled participants to ask questions, clarify their concerns, and gain a better understanding of the legal remedies available to them.
A major focus of the programme was to ensure that legal awareness translated into accessible support. The participating lawyers provided helpline numbers through which women could seek professional guidance whenever required. This helped establish a direct connection between the community and legal professionals, giving women greater confidence to seek timely assistance in matters affecting their rights and well-being.
The programme also highlighted the importance of continued institutional support. Participants were assured that the BDO and local administration would remain available for future assistance and guidance wherever required. This reinforced the message that women do not have to face legal or administrative challenges alone and that appropriate support mechanisms are available within the system.
The initiative reached approximately 100 women, creating a meaningful platform for legal education, awareness, and empowerment at the grassroots level. With 5 FICCI FLO members involved, the event reflected the organisation’s commitment to extending women-centric initiatives beyond urban spaces and into local communities.
