FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Poonam Kochhar, successfully completed Batch 1 of its Drone Skills Programme, with 20 young women successfully completing their training today. This initiative is a reflection of FLO’s commitment to bridging the skill gap and creating opportunities for young women in emerging and technology-driven sectors.
The programme goes beyond imparting technical skills. It gives these young women the confidence to explore new career avenues, participate in a rapidly evolving industry and become financially independent.
A special highlight of today’s programme was the announcement of two internship opportunities for the participants, providing them with a valuable stepping stone towards practical industry exposure and future employment. Our heartfelt gratitude to:
- Spherule Foundation for supporting the beneficiaries and enabling this initiative.
- Ms. Neeru Goel, generous donor, whose sponsorship made this programme possible.
- Ms. Gayatri Tewari, Vertical Head, for her unwavering commitment, diligence and hands-on support throughout the training, ensuring that the girls remained encouraged and motivated at every step.
- Executive committee member Gayatri Ghule – for her presence and time in support.
At FICCI FLO, empowerment is not just about creating awareness; it is about creating access, building capabilities and opening doors to opportunities.
