We launched Project Naaris with Needles in Kolkata. This initiative aims to empower women from underprivileged backgrounds by teaching them sewing and cutting skills. Participants will learn how to make petticoats and fall and pico work over a two-month period. Classes are held at Kindred Spirits every Sunday for two hours. Our goal is to enable these women to earn a daily wage within their communities, even from home. Currently, six women are training under this project.
