Led by Ms. Puja Garg, National President, FICCI FLO, the organisation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through its Women & Young Members Excellence Committee (WYMEC), under the FLO Financial Skilling Initiative.
The collaboration marks a significant step towards advancing financial literacy, financial inclusion and professional empowerment for women across India. The initiative is being spearheaded by Ms. Priyanka Gulati, National Head, FLO Financial Skilling Initiative.
The strategic partnership aims to promote financial literacy, wealth management awareness, entrepreneurship, leadership development and skill-building opportunities for women professionals and entrepreneurs. The collaboration will also focus on digital skilling and capacity building in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), GST, taxation, compliance and governance.
Through this three-year partnership, FICCI FLO and ICAI will jointly undertake programmes focused on financial literacy, MSME and startup support, export readiness, mentorship, leadership development, sustainability, research and policy dialogues, and joint conferences and certification programmes. The partnership will also place special emphasis on skill building and financial awareness at the grassroots level, along with awareness and learning sessions in schools and colleges to foster financial literacy and empower young minds.
Aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, Women-Led Development, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Startup India, Skill India and Digital India, the MoU reinforces FICCI FLO’s commitment to creating pathways for women to build financial capability, strengthen professional competencies and emerge as leaders in India’s growth story.
