FLO Chennai and Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology formalised a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration focused on student development, employability, innovation, and future-readiness. The MoU was signed by Dr. Amulya Rao, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Chennai, and Dr. Apoorva Haree, Executive Director of Rajalakshmi Institutions, reflecting a shared commitment to empowering students through knowledge, skill-building, and industry engagement.
The collaboration introduces three integrated programmes designed to equip students with the competencies required to navigate professional and entrepreneurial journeys with confidence. The first initiative, Campus to Corporate Readiness, is a structured six-hour skill development programme facilitated by a FICCI FLO Scaling Partner.
The programme focuses on preparing students for professional environments through training in professional identity development, LinkedIn profile creation, resume and CV writing, personal branding, communication skills, and interview preparation. The initiative aims to enhance employability and provide students with practical tools for career advancement.
The second initiative, the AI Governance and Technology Masterclass, has been developed under FICCI FLO Chennai’s AI, Tech Scaling and Legal Vertical. The programme introduces students to emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, innovation, and the evolving landscape of AI governance. Particular emphasis is placed on responsible AI adoption, ethical considerations, risk management, and understanding the opportunities and challenges associated with technological advancement.
The third initiative, the Student Legal Awareness Programme, is being implemented in collaboration with FICCI FLO Chennai’s Legal Vertical. Designed to build legal literacy among students, the programme covers essential topics including the fundamentals of law, contracts and legal agreements, intellectual property rights, cyber law, and legal considerations relevant to entrepreneurship and professional careers.
Collectively, these programmes provide a comprehensive framework that combines workplace readiness, technological competence, and legal awareness. The MoU signifies a long-term partnership between FICCI FLO Chennai and Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, reflecting a shared commitment to preparing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and professionals.
