FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Poonam Kochhar, as part of its commitment to promoting women’s health and well-being under the Health & Wellness Vertical, organized a program on Menstrual Hygiene, Cervical Cancer, and Breast Cancer Awareness on 8 September 2026 at Vadgaon Ghenand Village, in collaboration with the Wockhardt Foundation.
The session focused on educating women and adolescent girls about the importance of menstrual hygiene management, early detection and prevention of cervical cancer, breast self-examination, and the significance of regular health screenings. The experts from the Wockhardt Foundation conducted informative and interactive sessions, addressing common myths and encouraging open conversations around women’s health.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from women and young girls from the village, reinforcing FLO Pune’s commitment to creating awareness, improving access to health education, and driving positive social impact at the grassroots level.
