FICCI FLO Bhubaneswar Chapter signed a strategic, five-year Memorandum of Understanding with the KIIT School of Law to merge academic research with grassroots community empowerment. Supported by the leadership of Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Raju K.D.—a renowned legal expert on international trade, intellectual property, and Geographical Indication registrations—this non-binding collaborative framework focuses on raising critical social, digital, and legal awareness.
Through a series of joint workshops, conferences, and capacity-building programs, both organizations will actively promote workplace safety via POSH Act sensitization, advocate for digital literacy and cyber safety for women, and demystify intellectual property rights for young innovators. Additionally, this partnership leverages the Geographical Indications framework to empower local weavers and artisans with sustainable business practices, while offering KIIT law students direct exposure to executive leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional mentoring.
