FLO Ahmedabad organized an interaction with Mirai Chaterjee, Director of Social Security, SEWA and the SEWA craftswomen in the course of an art workshop at SEWA Haveli – a heritage building. A deft SEWA team ensured that highly skilled and experienced women demonstrated the famous crafts of block printing and – ‘Baadla’ work and that FLOites let their creativity flow during the ‘do it yourself’ routines. Art, heritage and the socio-economic well-being of women were skillfully inter-woven to provide FLOites with a very enriching experience.
