Living Room Conversations 4.0: An Odyssey of Stories & Starters

FLO Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Madhu Banthia, organised an intimate evening of storytelling, “Living Room Conversations 4.0: An Odyssey of Stories & Starters” to honour the Shakti of strong women from the Ramayana through their lesser-known stories, blending immersive storytelling with regional cuisine to foster cultural understanding and meaningful member engagement. Event Coordinator, Shachi Johri, and Day Chair, Manisha Thakkar, made the event possible and generated a positive experience for all the attendees.

Led by storyteller Brinda Thakkar, the event was truly an evening of untold valour and warmth, where members explored the grace and power of characters like Sita, Urmila, Ahilya, Mandodari, Sulochana (Indrajeet’s wife), Shabari, Anjana (Hanuman’s mother), and Kali, each representing courage, devotion, and inner strength. As the narrative moved from one region to another, the corresponding regional cuisine was lovingly served from Makhana Kheer to Dal Baati to Karnataka delicacies.
