FLO Advocacy & Legal Cell Women for Women was officially launched in Kolkata on to facilitate economic empowerment of FLO members and other women of India through knowledge of law and legal processes.
A Panel discussion was organized on a very pertinent subject ? Women for Women. The panelists were- Ms Vrinda Grover (Lawyer, Human Rights & Womens Rights Activist), Ms Asha Nayar (Lawyer, Senior Partner at S Jalan n Co) and Ms Anupama Sureka (Chairperson FLO Kolkata 2016-17). They were also accompanied on the dais by the two Guests of Honor Smt Ruma Pal (Retired Justice of Supreme Court of India) & Ms Vinita Bimbhet (National FLO President). The Chief Guest for this event was Honorable Governor of West Bengal Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi.
