FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Poonam Kochchar, in collaboration with Little Leaf, launched its E-Waste Collection Drive on the occasion of World Environment Day. This drive is focused on collecting discarded electronics (phones, laptops, appliances). The process is a part of circular economy which involves turning toxic materials into valuable raw materials which are extracted to make new devices.
FLO’s E-Waste Collection Drive is a commitment towards sustainability and responsible environmental action. This will be an ongoing initiative throughout the year, with e-waste collection taking place on a quarterly basis. Around 450 members became a part of E-Waste Drive launch for promoting responsible disposal and recycling of the e-waste items.
