The KRIA Awards Ceremony marked the culmination of the iTNT KRIA’tive Innovation Awards 2026 in alignment with World Intellectual Property Day 2026. The event underscored the importance of intellectual property in driving innovation across sectors.
With participation from 116 attendees, the ceremony fostered meaningful engagement and collaboration. A key highlight was the felicitation of winners from the Technical and Social Innovation categories, recognising ideas for their creativity, feasibility, and impact.
The ceremony brought together distinguished voices from the legal and innovation ecosystems. Dr. Amulya Rao, Chairperson, FICCI FLO Chennai, delivered the inaugural address, emphasising the growing role of intellectual property in enabling innovation, particularly in emerging sectors.
Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy of the Madras High Court offered valuable legal perspectives on IP protection and enforcement. Ms. Vanitha Venugopal, CEO, iTNT Hub and Chair Head – Startup Cell, FICCI FLO Chennai, represented the innovation ecosystem and delivered a special address, highlighting support for startups.
Ms. Gauri Kumar, Senior Consultant for International Trademark (India and South Asia), shared insights on global IP frameworks. Together, the speakers reflected a diverse and influential panel advancing IP awareness.
The event also served as a platform for networking and knowledge exchange among stakeholders. Organised by FICCI FLO Chennai in collaboration with iTNT Hub and KRIA Law, it marked a strong conclusion to the programme while reinforcing the value of innovation-led growth.
