Kirtan Jamming

FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Poonam Kochchar, hosted a Kirtan Jamming Session under the Performing Arts Vertical. It is envisioned as a unique cultural and wellness experience that brings together music, mindfulness, spirituality, and community engagement. Rooted in the rich tradition of Indian devotional music, the session aims to offer members an immersive and interactive platform to experience the transformative power of collective singing, rhythm, and positive energy.

Kirtan Jamming featured Ms. Meeta Shah, an award-winning singer, composer & lyricist. Known for her soul-stirring work, featured in 30 acclaimed albums that have been released by Times Music, T-Series & various NGOs, Shrimad Rajchandra Mission, Dharampur & Sadhu Vaswani Mission, among many more.

In today’s fast-paced world, where stress and emotional fatigue have become increasingly common, music and performing arts play an important role in promoting mental well-being and inner balance. Through this specially curated session, members had the opportunity to reconnect with themselves through soulful kirtan, live musical interaction, storytelling, and rhythmic participation in a contemporary and engaging format.

The event also seeks to celebrate and revive India’s cultural heritage by presenting kirtan not only as a spiritual practice but also as a powerful form of performing art that fosters unity, positivity, and emotional connection. The session encouraged mindfulness, creativity, and community bonding while creating an uplifting atmosphere for all participants.

By blending traditional art forms with modern experiential engagement, the Kirtan Jamming Session reflected  FLO Pune’s commitment towards holistic wellness, cultural appreciation, and meaningful member experiences. The event left the participants inspired, rejuvenated, and more connected to the values of harmony, gratitude, and togetherness through the universal language of music.
