In July 2017, FLO Kolkata organized a jewelry workshop for the resource poor women to learn the skill towards earning a livelihood. This empowerment training was conducted by an upcoming designer duo, Ms. Shivaalika Julka and Ms. Shashi Julka. Seven women upskilled their jewelry making skills by learning different types of hand bands, neck pieces , earrings and bag charms and many more such items. These creations are being showcased in upcoming FLO stalls and exhibitions.
