FLO Mumbai, in collaboration with Mumbai Port Authority and Patanjali, proudly celebrated the International Day of Yoga 2026 at the iconic Gateway of India, Mumbai, bringing together more than 1,000 yoga enthusiasts for a morning dedicated to health, harmony, and holistic well-being. Held under the global theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” the event encouraged participants to embrace yoga as a lifelong practice that promotes physical fitness, mental wellness, emotional balance, and healthy ageing.
The serene setting of the Gateway of India provided a fitting backdrop for a collective celebration of one of India’s greatest contributions to global wellness. The programme was honoured by the presence of Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal Ji and Hon’ble Minister of State Shri Kamlesh Paswan Ji, whose participation underscored the significance of yoga as a national movement for healthier communities. The event was further enriched by the presence of celebrated personalities Isha Deol, Neetu Chandra, and Ravi Kishan, who inspired participants through their enthusiastic support for the initiative.
A memorable highlight of the morning was the live address by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji from Kolkata, where he led the nation in observing the International Day of Yoga and encouraged citizens to make yoga an integral part of their daily lives.
