INDIA 2030 – Opportunities that Lie Ahead for Women-Led MSMEs

To commemorate MSME Day 2026, FLO Kolkata, in collaboration with YFLO Kolkata, organised India 2030 – Opportunities that Lie Ahead for Women-Led MSMEs, an inspiring initiative that seamlessly blended thought leadership with entrepreneurial promotion. Conceived as a platform to equip, connect and celebrate women entrepreneurs, the event brought together business leaders, founders and professionals to explore the immense opportunities awaiting Indian MSMEs in the coming decade.

The highlight of the programme was an engaging keynote address by Mr. Sarthak Ahuja, whose session offered a compelling roadmap for building resilient and future-ready businesses. Drawing upon contemporary market trends, consumer psychology and real-world business case studies, he encouraged entrepreneurs to move beyond a product-centric approach and instead build enterprises anchored in customer trust, relevance and meaningful value creation.

He emphasised that sustainable growth stems from understanding evolving consumer behaviour, embracing innovation, creating memorable customer experiences and leveraging Artificial Intelligence as a strategic business enabler. His practical frameworks and relatable insights resonated strongly with participants, inspiring them to reimagine the future of their businesses with confidence and clarity.

Complementing the session was the MSME Women-Led Brand Showcase, which transformed the venue into a vibrant place of innovation and entrepreneurship. Women-led MSMEs from diverse sectors showcased their brands, products and services, creating valuable opportunities for business visibility, networking and collaboration. FLO and YFLO members actively engaged with the brands, discovering innovative enterprises while fostering meaningful business conversations and encouraging women entrepreneurs through direct interaction and support.

Adding immense value to the experience, Mr. Sarthak Ahuja personally visited the showcase, interacted with several participating entrepreneurs, appreciated their ventures and exchanged valuable business insights, making the experience deeply enriching. By bringing together strategic learning and real-time business engagement within a single platform, the programme created an ecosystem where ideas translated into conversations, connections and opportunities.

The event truly embodied the spirit of MSME Day by empowering women-led enterprises not only with knowledge and inspiration, but also with meaningful market exposure. It reaffirmed the shared commitment of FLO Kolkata and YFLO Kolkata to nurturing an entrepreneurial ecosystem that is collaborative, future-focused and instrumental in advancing India’s vision for inclusive economic growth.
