FLO Coimbatore, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Aparna Sunku, was delighted to be part of “Happy Hearts”, a heartfelt Pongal celebration for parents of special children. This thoughtful initiative was organised by Third Eye Autism Centre, run by Saranya Rengaraj and Sumi Rengaraj, under the guidance of their mother, the visionary Vanitha Rengaraj. The event truly embodied inclusion in its truest sense.
Understanding that parents of special children rarely get adequate rest and constantly carry the responsibility of care, Happy Hearts was beautifully conceived to offer them a relaxed, joyful day—free from worry about their children’s well-being. On this occasion, Chairperson Aparna Sunku, along with the FLO Inclusion Vertical led by Jayashree Prasad, announced a meaningful empowerment initiative to support mothers of autistic children.
The program will provide financial assistance and mentorship, enabling selected mothers to start home-based businesses. Suitable candidates will be identified by the team and onboarded for sustained support. A truly inspiring morning celebrating empathy, inclusion, and empowerment.
