Grow. Cook. Eat — A Journey from Farm to Fork

FLO Bengaluru’s Gourmet Vertical hosted an immersive experiential session on sustainable urban farming and conscious cooking on 11 November 2025, aligned with FLO’s initiatives on sustainability and wellness for about 70 members. The program began with an engaging knowledge session on hydroponic farming, led by Anthony Hills, Founder of Aura Greens.

Members were introduced to the principles of soil-less cultivation and learned how technology-enabled hydroponics supports cleaner food production, efficient resource use, and healthier urban lifestyles. The session emphasized the role of sustainable farming practices in food security and environmental responsibility.

This was followed by a live cooking demonstration and tasting experience hosted by Food Stories, where freshly harvested hydroponically grown lettuce and tomatoes were transformed into wholesome salads and wraps. The demonstration highlighted how mindful ingredient choices can seamlessly blend nutrition, flavour, and sustainability.

The session fostered active participation, meaningful dialogue, and practical learning. Members gained actionable insights into adopting sustainable food practices and conscious cooking habits in everyday life. Grow. Cook. Eat reaffirmed FLO Bengaluru’s commitment to promoting sustainable living, wellness-focused innovation, and community-driven learning, leaving participants inspired to make informed, earth-friendly choices from farm to fork.
