FLO Kanpur proudly hosted “Grand FLO Bazaar Season 8: The Jewellery, Fashion & Lifestyle Edit,” a vibrant showcase of women-led entrepreneurship, textiles, and creative enterprise. This event is a part of FLO Kavach, an initiative to support women in overcoming different challenges and equip them with the necessary resources. FLO Bazaar supports women-led businesses to showcase their products, especially festive items and artisanal crafts.
Season 8 of the FLO Bazaar brought together 85 exceptional women-led brands from 9+ cities across India, including Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Jaipur, Kolkata, Ranchi, Delhi, Lucknow, and more, to showcase their collections. The Grand FLO Bazaar was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mayor Smt. Premila Pandey ji and was graced by key government dignitaries, including the Chief Development Officer, ADM City’s spouse, Commissioner of Police and spouse, among others, strengthening the spirit of public-private partnership to promote women-led businesses.
The event served as a dynamic platform for established labels and emerging startups to connect directly with buyers and expand their reach. A special highlight was the exclusive pavilion dedicated to rural artisans and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) supported by FLO Kanpur. 12 rural SHGs and the Ashayen Spastic Centre presented their handcrafted products and inspiring stories of skill and resilience, giving them valuable market exposure.
The event attracted over 5000 visitors, creating a lively atmosphere filled with shopping, networking, and celebration of women’s entrepreneurship. Also, these visitors generated high footfall and strong sales. Many brands recorded excellent sales, and the event also became a launchpad for two new startups, which used the platform to introduce their offerings and connect with new audiences.
Under the leadership of Chairperson Kriti Shroff and Team FLO Kanpur, FLO Bazaar continues to empower women entrepreneurs by offering market linkages, visibility, and a sense of community that inspires more women to step forward and grow their businesses.
