FLO Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Usha Jaiswal, organized a Golf Clinic session, an enriching initiative aimed at introducing participants to the fundamentals of golf while promoting fitness and networking opportunities. The session featured esteemed speakers Shrishti Chawhan and Sunil Kumar, an A Category Certified Golf Coach by NGAI, India, who brought valuable insights and practical knowledge to the event.
In the first phase, participants were introduced to essential techniques such as grip, stance, and swing, along with a clear understanding of golf etiquette and on-course discipline. The interactive format allowed attendees to gain hands-on experience, making the learning process both engaging and effective.
The second phase extended the impact of the event by focusing on career awareness. A dedicated session led by a lady coach was organized for university students, where they were guided on pathways to becoming professional golf coaches. The discussion included insights on training academies, certification processes, and career opportunities within the sports industry.
This initiative aimed to inspire and empower young girls to explore sports not only as a passion but also as a viable and rewarding career option. Overall, the event successfully blended skill development, awareness, and inspiration, creating a holistic and meaningful experience for around 39 participants.
