FLO Indore’s IT Excellence Program: Empowering Girls for a Bright Future

FLO Indore, led by Chairperson Ar. Vibha Jain Sethi and in collaboration with InfoBeans Foundation, provided a one-year rigorous IT training program to 40 underprivileged girls from various parts of Madhya Pradesh. The initiative aimed at equipping them with financial independence and essential skills to carve out successful careers in the IT sector.

The convocation ceremony, held on February 17 at the InfoBeans Foundation campus, was a unique moment for all involved, with 16 of the 40 girls securing jobs in leading IT companies, an achievement of the effectiveness of the program.

The Guest of Honour for the event was FICCI FLO National President, Ms. Joyshree Das Verma, who felicitated the students with certificates and lauded their hard work, discipline and dedication. She congratulated the parents and encouraged them to continue supporting their daughters’ ambitions.

An aspect of this program was the active involvement of 8 FLO members who sponsored these girls. 25 other members acted as mentors to these students by imparting different essential life skills like personality development, and digital literacy„including the use of LinkedIn, ways to appear and excel in the interview process, basic banking knowledge, rakhi making, and vital lessons on health and hygiene.
