FLO Hyderabad Celebrates Silver Jubilee with Hon’ble Governor of Telangana Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla as Chief Guest, Hyderabad

FICCI Ladies Organisation (FICCIFLO), under the leadership of Ms. Puja Garg, 43rd National President, celebrated the Silver Jubilee of FLO Hyderabad Chapter at the JRC Convention Centre, marking 25 years of empowering women through entrepreneurship, leadership, and community impact.

The highlight of the evening was the presence of His Excellency Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, as the Chief Guest. Congratulating FLO Hyderabad on completing 25 remarkable years, the Governor described the gathering as a powerful reflection of the collective strength, leadership, and determination of women across India.

Applauding FICCI FLO’s sustained contribution to women’s empowerment, the Governor praised the organisation’s efforts in nurturing women entrepreneurs, promoting leadership, strengthening skill development, and creating meaningful social impact. He remarked that when a woman is empowered, an entire family, society, and ultimately the nation is empowered, adding that women are not only contributors to the economy but also the backbone of India’s development journey.

Speaking about India’s transformation under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Amrit Kaal and Viksit Bharat 2047, Shri Shukla highlighted the pivotal role women will play in building an Atmanirbhar Bharat. He noted that government initiatives such as Jan Dhan Yojana, the strengthening of Self-Help Groups, and focused support for women-led enterprises have accelerated financial inclusion and entrepreneurship, particularly at the grassroots.

He also emphasised the importance of preserving and promoting India’s rich handloom and handicrafts traditions as engines of livelihood generation, cultural preservation, and economic growth. Calling women catalysts of change, the Governor urged FICCI FLO members to continue mentoring young girls, nurturing future women leaders, and working closely with governments and institutions to create a supportive ecosystem where women can thrive as entrepreneurs, professionals, innovators, and nation-builders.

He remarked that gatherings such as this inspire confidence and have the potential to create history by bringing together women committed to driving inclusive growth. The celebrations also paid tribute to the Past Chairs of FLO Hyderabad, whose vision and leadership have transformed the Chapter into one of FICCI FLO’s most vibrant and impactful Chapters over the past 25 years. Former Chairpersons were felicitated for their contributions in building a strong platform for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and changemakers.
