FICCI FLO, under the leadership of 43rd National President, Ms. Puja Garg, participated in the Study Tour at Chocolate Nation, Antwerp, Belgium. As part of the India-Belgium delegation, around 36 FLO members gained an immersive experience of Belgium’s celebrated chocolate heritage. The visit offered the delegation an engaging journey through the history, origins, and craftsmanship of Belgian chocolate.
The delegation followed the journey of the cocoa bean—from how cocoa is grown and harvested to the processes that transform the beans into fine chocolate. The experience provided valuable insights into the craftsmanship, technology, and traditions that have shaped Belgium’s global reputation for chocolate.
The visit concluded with a tour of the Chocolate Nation retail outlet, where the delegation explored an extensive range of Belgian chocolates and products—an enjoyable session that could aptly be called “retail therapy, the chocolate way!”
The visit was a memorable addition to the FLO Study Tour 2026, combining learning, cultural immersion, and business exposure, while giving the delegation an opportunity to experience one of Belgium’s most iconic industries firsthand.
