FICCI FLO Presents

FICCI FLO at the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance Annual Meeting 2026

FICCI FLO participated in the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance Annual Meeting 2026, which was held at the Crystal Ball Room, The Lalit, New Delhi. Gathering women business leaders, international delegations, and C-suite executives from BRICS countries, the annual meeting focused on creating meaningful economic opportunities, market access, and cross-border business partnerships for women-led enterprises.

Addressing the BRICS WBA leadership and members, Ms. Puja Garg, 43rd FICCI FLO National President, highlighted that women entrepreneurs require more than skills, finance, and technology to succeed. Access to markets, buyers, supply chains, investors, and business partners is equally critical to completing the journey from empowerment to sustainable economic participation.

Representing FICCI FLO at the BRICS WBA Annual Meeting, Ms. Garg highlighted FICCI FLO’s 43-year legacy, 22 chapters, and over 16,000 members across India. FLO’s work spans diverse areas including manufacturing, AI and digital skilling, drones and emerging technologies, agriculture and food processing, green technology and circular economy, crafts and creative industries, financial and legal literacy, export readiness and women’s leadership.

With this extensive ecosystem, FLO connects women at different stages of economic participation to larger markets, partnerships and growth opportunities. The proposed collaboration between FICCI FLO and the BRICS WBA seeks to facilitate:

  • Cross-border market access for women-led businesses
  • International buyers and sourcing opportunities
  • Business partnerships and distributors
  • Investor and technology connections
  • Greater participation of women entrepreneurs in BRICS markets
  • Stronger B2B linkages between women-led enterprises across BRICS countries

During her address, Ms. Puja Garg mentioned the upcoming India Women Trade Fair (IWTF) 2026, scheduled for 18–20 December 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, with FICCI as the Strategic Partner. Positioning IWTF as a business marketplace for women-led enterprises, Ms. Garg outlined its vision to connect entrepreneurs and MSMEs with buyers, investors, corporates, government institutions and international partners.

She invited BRICS partner countries to participate in IWTF by bringing women-led businesses, technologies, innovations, buyers, distributors, investors and sourcing organisations to India, while creating opportunities for Indian women entrepreneurs to explore markets and partnerships across BRICS economies. The special address concluded with a clear vision: future BRICS WBA meetings should measure success not only through meetings and recommendations, but through new markets entered, partnerships created, investments initiated, and women entrepreneurs expanding their businesses across borders.
