Empowering Women & Children Through Art

FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Anita Agarwal, organized an enriching Warli Tribal Art Workshop for the women from Army backgrounds and their children. Hosted under the Education vertical. The workshop for the Navrang community focused on objectives, such as fostering creativity, cultural appreciation, and empowerment through artistic expression.

The Warli Tribal Art Workshop was led by Ms. Pooja Anand, Urban Skilling and Education head, and facilitated by Ms. Noopur Pawar. Ms. Pawar guided the participants on the skill of creating the traditional and symbolic Warli art form.

The session was not only a celebration of art but also served as a platform for emotional expression, community bonding, and skill development. A heartfelt thank you to FLO members Rashmi and Moushmi for their valuable support and volunteering efforts, which played a vital role in the smooth execution and success of the event.

Over 65 participants—including women from Army backgrounds and their children—enthusiastically engaged in learning the traditional and symbolic Warli art form,

This initiative truly reflected FLO Pune’s continued commitment to empowering women and children through knowledge, creativity, and culture.
