  • Dreamer Jyoti Shrinivas Kohli’s Story

After years of saving, we began building our dream home — but a sudden medical emergency forced us to spend all our savings, and construction came to a standstill. We felt helpless, unable to buy materials or pay laborers. At that crucial time, Dreams Foundation supported us with a loan. Work resumed, and the sounds of construction brought our dream back to life. For us, this help was not just financial — it was hope and faith restored.

  • Dreamer Asha Hasmukhbhai’s Story

After losing her husband to cancer, Asha, a mother from Riya village, struggled alone to provide for her children. Though villagers helped her get land and start building a house,

financial difficulties left her dream unfinished. With support from Dreams Foundation, Asha is now completing her home, giving her children the security and stability she longed for.

  • Dreamer Manisha Pramar Story

My name is Manisha Parmar, and I work as a dance teacher at Manav Sadhna Centers, where I dedicate myself to bringing confidence and joy to children and the community through dance. I live with my family in a 30-year-old home that has become unsafe. The walls are badly damaged, and during the rainy season, water leaks inside, creating unhealthy and dangerous living conditions.

Despite our combined efforts—my mother and sister working as housemaids, my younger brother recently employed at the airport, and my own income as a teacher—we can barely meet daily needs, and rebuilding our home is beyond our means. We are very grateful to Dreams Foundation’s support in rebuilding our home.

  • Dreamer Kajalben’s Story

Kajalben, a dedicated member of Paryavaran Mitra, supports her family with quiet strength. With her mother unable to work and her father struggling with an old autorickshaw, the family faced constant hardships. With support from Dreams Foundation, Kajalben purchased a new autorickshaw for her father. She is proudly repaying the loan each month—a true reflection of her responsibility, love, and determination to uplift her family.

  • Dreamer Rahulaben’s Story

Rahulaben Kapadia, a mother of two daughters, stood firm against family pressure to have a son, saying, “I will not try for a third child just to have a boy.” Despite financial hardship, lack of support from in-laws, and her husband working away, she continued working and raising her children alone. Her resilience was tested through years of struggle, even battling depression. When her old scooter broke down, commuting became a challenge—until the

Dream Foundation gifted her a new Activa. For Rahulaben, it wasn’t just transport; it was a symbol of dignity, hope, and strength.

  • Dreamer Poonam

One evening changed our lives forever. My father passed away from a sudden heart attack, and our world turned upside down. I’m Poonam Patandin Thakur, 21, living with my mother, sister,

and younger brother. After my father’s death, my sister and I became the strength of our family, working hard to support our home. For the past 10 years, I’ve been part of Manav Sadhana’s Earn & Learn program, which has helped me grow in confidence and skills. Today, I proudly

serve as a staff member, giving back to the same community that supported me. One of my biggest challenges was the long, unsafe commute. Thanks to Dreams Foundation, I now have an Activa—saving time, energy, and bringing safety to my daily life.

  • Dreamer Kori Anamika Fulchand Bhai Story

I lost my father at a very young age, and since then, my mother has been the true pillar of our family. She works tirelessly and carries the entire weight of our home with courage. My elder brother contributes by working at a garage, while my younger brother continues his college education. My name is Anamika, and I am 20 years old. For the past 10 years, I have been part of the Earn & Learn program. What began as a simple love for arts and crafts has grown into a journey of confidence, skills, and responsibility.

Today, I feel proud to be working as a staff member—giving back to the very place that shaped me. But balancing college, work, and home responsibilities was never easy. My daily bus commute to college was long, exhausting, and at times even unsafe. I would often return home drained, with little energy left for studies or family. I knew something had to change—but owning a scooter felt completely impossible for me.

With the support of the Dreams Foundation, I was able to purchase an Activa scooter.

This one step has brought a huge transformation in my life. I can now travel safely, quickly, and with dignity. I save precious hours every week, and the energy I once lost in travel is now invested in my studies, my work, and my family. This support has given me not just convenience, but also the confidence to dream bigger and the strength to believe in a brighter future.

  • Dreamer Neha Bhen’s Story

Like every family, we too carry a simple dream in our hearts—the dream of owning a small home. Living and working in the city, that dream feels far beyond our reach. But in our village, we can afford a modest house of our own, a place where we can feel safe, secure, and at peace. My name is Neha Bhen & Rahul bhai Vaghari, and we are a family of four—my husband, our young son and daughter, and myself.

Both my husband and I are proud to serve at an NGO that has become not only our workplace but also our extended family. I work as a cook, preparing meals with love for the children and staff, while my husband is a computer teacher, guiding young students toward a brighter future. Our two little ones are in nursery, taking their first steps in education.

But behind our dedication lies a constant struggle. We currently live in a rented room in the city, which adds to our financial burden. And whenever we visit our village, we must share the same small house with my husband’s three brothers and their families. The lack of space makes it difficult for everyone to live together with dignity. To create a place of our own, we began building a small house in the village.

Sadly, due to financial constraints, the construction remains incomplete. Between paying rent in the city, meeting daily household expenses, and caring for our children, we are left with little to build our dream home. With the support of Dreams Foundation, we have started construction, and soon we will have a home of our own, a place where our children can grow with security and pride.

  • Dreamer Darshi Shah Story

My name is Darshi Shah, and I am currently a second-year B.Sc. Microbiology student at President Science College. I live with my mother, who is a single parent and currently undergoing training as an advocate. My father never stayed with us, so it’s just the two of us supporting each other through life’s journey. Every day, I travel approximately 9.5 kilometers to reach my college.

However, commuting has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced. Public transport in my area is often delayed by an hour or more, and at times even cancelled, making it difficult for me to attend lectures and practicals on time. These delays were not only time-consuming but also affected my ability to participate in activities, which are essential for me.

I had hoped to buy an Activa scooter to solve this issue, but due to financial constraints, it seemed impossible and out of reach for us. We barely manage to make two ends meet. Dreams Foundation supported us with an Activa. I am truly grateful for this life-changing support. It has not only made my daily commute easier but has also given me more time to focus on my studies.

  • Dreamer Bharwad Mittalben Shaktabhai Story

My name is Bharwad Mittalben Shaktabhai. My husband and I are farmers, and we also rear cows and buffalo, selling milk to help manage our household expenses. We live in a family of four, and like many small farmers, we depend entirely on agriculture for our livelihood. In recent years, we faced difficulties due to crop failures and a lack of steady income. Sometimes, we had no choice but to take up labor work to support our family.

This year, as our children are growing and their educational needs are increasing, we realised TV, we needed to increase our income to secure their future. We decided to expand our farming by leasing two extra fields from neighboring farmers. The plan was to give one-fourth of the crop as rent. But we only had enough savings to cultivate one field. We needed support for seeds, fertilisers, and tractor plowing for the additional fields.

With help from Dreams Foundation, we were able to sow the crops on time, and due to timely rains, the crops are growing very well. Now, we have a good harvest and a hopeful future. Thanks to the support from Dream Foundation, we were able to cultivate three fields instead of one, and we are now in a much better financial position.
