FLO Mumbai, under the leadership of Chairperson Seema Saroj, organized an interactive session, “Discover Your Diamond DNA,” led by Rittika Karvat, diamond and jewelery consultant. This interactive evening at Ekaraa—the first brand to bring lab-grown and natural diamonds together under one roof—was designed as a hands-on skill-building experience rather than a traditional product showcase. The session opened with an icebreaker exploring guests’ personal relationship with indulgence and self-expression through jewellery.
Volunteers then tried on earrings, necklaces and rings live, receiving guidance on face types and fit so they could choose pieces that genuinely suited them. Participants walked through the “9 C’s of Buying Right” framework, personalised to Ekaraa’s brand voice and applicable whether selecting lab-grown or natural diamonds. Using this knowledge, guests identified gaps in their current collections and prioritised capsule wardrobe must-haves. The session also featured Mr Mehul Jain, founder of Ekaraa Jewellery (and previously Everbrite); nearly 19 years in the diamond jewellery industry spanning product development, manufacturing, sales and market strategy.
The workshop aimed to educate and empower guests to choose jewellery that truly suits them—shifting the experience from jewellery meeting the wearer to the wearer meeting jewellery that expresses their individuality. In the “Style It Yourself” segment, each guest curated three complete looks from the showroom’s range.
The evening concluded with a Q&A with the founder and high-tea networking, transforming attendees into more confident diamond and jewellery connoisseurs. Throughout, the emphasis remained clear: jewellery is a form of self-expression. By learning to “hear themselves correctly,” guests left equipped to try pieces on, understand what works for them, and own their choices with confidence.
