Day Picnic with Purpose

FLO Jaipur, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Rimmi Shekhawat, organized “Day Picnic with Purpose” under the National Textile Vertical, offering members a meaningful blend of industry exposure, sustainability learning, artisan engagement, and community networking. The initiative was thoughtfully curated to move beyond conventional meetings and provide members with experiential learning in a real industry setting. 

Hosted at Vimla International Rugs, Banskho Village, the visit enabled members to engage directly with India’s rich textile heritage while strengthening professional connections in a relaxed and engaging environment.

Industry Association & Skill Development

Under the aegis of WSC – Weavers Service Centre, FLO Jaipur’s association with Vimla International Rugs has been strengthened through a 45-day advanced training program, supported by government intervention. The program focuses on:

  • Skill enhancement of local rug-making artisans
  • Artisan welfare and livelihood development
  • Long-term capacity building and sustainable employment
  • This collaboration reflects FLO Jaipur’s commitment to inclusive growth, artisan
